About the metals
About the metals
These pieces are made using recycled sterling silver or a high quality jeweler's brass. This brass is a perfect match for 14k yellow gold, and does not tarnish quickly.
Care
Care
These rings contain stones and should be worn with a little bit of care.
As for the metal: These pieces will become yours over time with wear. Each mark tells a story, and they just become more beautiful. You can allow them to develop their own natural patina over time, or you could keep these pieces polished.
If you want to keep them bright, you can store your pieces in a box or bag to prevent oxidization or scratches. You can also avoid working out in, showering with, sleeping with, perfuming, or lotioning them.
As metals begin to naturally oxidize, use a silver polishing cloth to make them bright again. The internet is also full with tips for DIY cleaning brass at home- you can even just use a toothbrush and toothpaste. Don't use anything too abrasive on the stones.
Cleaning and polishing is also available by me for $10 plus shipping; e-mail orders@khirea.com ☺︎
